Hi A. Yes, you can build the analog stage from scratch using the 6922. BUT, the 6922 has (1) lower current and (2) higher Zout than the 5687 (assuming the same configuration). So, just swapping tube may not suffice. You may have to make a totally different configuration for the 6922 to mate it with AN's OPT.
