OpenBaffle, if you're talking about the Ultra HiB on Audiogon right now, I know something about their provenance. While I haven't met the seller in person, I have spoken with him many times about audio topics, and he's a real guy.

I will point him to this so he can reply to you directly if he'd like. He can be answer the questions of where they come from.

As for pricing, I think it's very fair. Given the price of getting a new pair with shipping costs, etc. Having just bought a pair of UHiB interstages, I have some familiarity with this.

Oh, and just for the record, I am not the seller!
