Anyone seen the AN 300B OPT's for sale on AudiogoN? I'm curious about whether these OPT's are the real Macoy. I mean, where are the copper end bells that PQ raves about and which I understand are supposed to be included with these OPT's? Also, the flying leads look to be of non-AN wiring. Am I paranoid or do these transformers seem counterfeit?

Anyone know the provenance of these transformers, and given the observations above, whether they seem like genuine AN offerings?

Just being cautious before making an offer. Which brings me to the price: given the pound/dollar exchange rate, does the 2800 asking price seem a bit high? I'm thiking 50% of list, or 17-1800.00 seems more appropriate?
