after further thought i'm not sure which is correct
i measured the dc resistance of the bass driver which is not the same as impedance
impedance is the 'resistance' at a certain frequency, and with a loudspeaker will vary depending on the frequency you measure it at
this may also vary depending on which set of drivers you have
so prehaps the best answer is to try both 4 and 8 ohm taps and see which works best for you
although it is always nice to know what is recommended
i can't remeber if i ever knew
i should try the 8 ohm taps again but i have built the monos with only the 4 ohm taps connected so would have to resolder to try
