My understanding is AN-Es are rated at 8 ohms for driver and tweeter respectively. So if you are connecting in parallel, (with jumper pins),
then the formula is (8ohmsx8ohms)/(8ohmsx2speakers)= 4ohms, where if you
use bi-wire hook-up to individual driver and tweeter, you would use 8 ohms.
I run mine with jumper pins with 8 ohms, and it sounds better this way.Lets have Brian or Peter give us an explanation.
