my mono sound substantially. It brought voltage down from 480v to 415v, a bit less than the 425 suggested in the manual. Thing is, I'm at 177v on the 6sh7 which is really close to the 180v recommended. Plus, those were the values of resistors I had to try.
One more benefit is that the hum is greatly reduced in level and on my 97+dB horns, I can leave the amps on 24/7 without bugging the household with humm.
Oh yeah, I also replaced all the ps with wkz. Still burning in, but very promising.
