i just ordered some 31dq10 by coincidence ! for monos and preampare you going to drop the voltage with a resistor or leave it as it is ?
(schottky diodes have no voltage drop accross them whereas normal ones you usually loose about 0.7v. so in a bridge rectifier its more - i think about 1v with the one in the monos and preamps. so if you put in schottkys you end up with a higher voltage afterwards). if you put in a resistor you can put in another cap for extra filtering.a higher voltage may mean more heat generated in the regs ?
