Thanks for pointing that out limono, good read. Much of what he talks about agrees completely with what I've learned so far, the pi-filter, component choices. My experience matches his.
The only thing I disagree with is the desired mA through the WE300B - he runs hot at 80mA (still lower than many) but I think 60mA is more relaxed, vibrant, tonal and even lively ! I know that seems a self-contradiction and I've tried many times to explain it. It's a contrast thing in my view. When the amp runs at 80mA it's lively - all the time ! At 60mA it's much more tonally revealing, then it's lively when the music is lively and the contrast between the chocolate and the chili comes alive. OK, enough ...
