Thanks beto1, Profbrookes for your insite & suggestions. I know what you mean about the lively & seductive sound from a good tube system especially the 300b. That was what got me really interested in the first placed after I've listen to my friend's older VAC Renaissance pre/amp feeding off a AN DAC3.0, spk were Kef LS 3/5. Eventually I will get there, but want to do it one component at a time with the best config, more $efficient in the long run (also less noticable from the woman hok..hok..). I enjoy very much the sound of my current ProAc 2.5 spk thou it's quite power hungry, mid is very sweet & low's freq attack is quite good. Have yet to find a hi sen spk I like and also within my present price range, but will definitely audition AN spk and see.
