I have just ordered a DAC2.1Sig to replaced my Assembledge DAC3.1 w/ D2D upsampler. The Assembledge is no slouge especially with upgraded op-amp and Nextgen silver rca. My intention was to slowly incorporate tube gear into my system. My preamp/amp are solid state Symphonic Line by Odyssey Audio. Yesterday my friend brought over a homemade tube preamp to play around on my system. I was very pleased with the outcome with the smooth and denser highs, mids and killer drums impact i thought my amp or spk unable to produced. But his preamp also produced more noise that's not too welcome. My intention is to upgrade my preamp to M3-Sig next, or should i get the M3 before DAC2.1Sig? Please help!
