Hi,

I cant quantify it but what I hear pleases me.
I never had the privliage of hearing AN speakers or Lowthers
so I am no expert. I guess it is also a matter of taste and sort
of music you listen to.

The horn designs really sound good. I stopped using my 90+
db Acoustic Energy speakers the day I received a tiny
Fostex horn, FE83E. If you are familiar with the group Yello
try their song "Oh Yeah" for bass. It sounds great to me on my horns. Anyway, you can always add a subwoofer if that is absolutely necessary.
