Thanks for responding.Yes, the foam has rotted out. I have been told there is no way to refoam them and have them still be tuned to the crossover. If you can convince me otherwise, I'm willing to listen!
My concern about the Snell replacements is that while they may be "better" speakers, technically, the orig. Vifa's in the K were designed for a closed box. Both the J and E are vented boxes.
Any further comments, please post.
