Kevin, I have a similar all AN setup and recently built the Balanced Line Pre. It's excellent and a terrific match with AN amps. In general, with the pre the sound is more focused and organized with better richness and color. As noted above, there is a tradeoff in a small sense of cleaness, but the gains outweigh that possible negative in my opinion.
