You have to separate Class D as a special case from the general category of "Solid-State" when talking about warm up time. Power output devices in Class D amps do not operate in the device's linear region so there is very little heat and and virtually no warm up time required. Compared to Class A or AB, Class D amps achieve optimal sonic performance within a minute or two..... not 30 minutes or more. For example, Pass Labs recommends 1 hour to achieve optimal performance in their Class AB amps. My Odyssey Stratos AB amp required even more time.
