The M33 V2 has both single ended and balanced preamp outputs, so one could run subs (perhaps even 4 of them) from these and ignore the sub outs.Then the main speakers would remain with a full-range signal and the subs would need to be XO'd by their own built-in amps. Also the subs could retain a stereo signal and not be forced to offer mono only!
I'm warming towards the V2, possibly in preference to the M66 with power amps.
