Yes. In that case it becomes an essentially meaningless number, doesn't it? :) "Damping Factor" is not only a misnomer, but an often misunderstood parameter specified in amplifier spec sheets.
It would be preferable if amplifier manufacturers simply specified the output impedance (directly) in ohms. And also specify any deviation with regard to frequency....if there is one.
