I have some 1.6s, but otherwise a very similar situation.
I have the mains set to cut at about 50 to 55hz at 12db / octave.
The sub is 24db / octave at about 45hz.
no mid-bass bloat. You can't 'localize' the bass but at the same time? Increased image width as well as extreme bass response.
Sub is a HSU Research VTF-2 mk3 or so. I run both ports open.
