Pardon me, I thought your statement was directed at audio playback as a whole, not exclusively at powercords.
Using an audio analyzer to look for signal distortion attributed to differences in power cords?!? I'd be amazed if there was any difference at all.
Back to the OP's question of should he get the particular powercord in question. The consensus seems to be that there are other things he needs to address first and even then, there is no guarantee the cord in question would be an improvement.
