RE: Importance of power cords?

I would argue, just making sure your house wiring relative to your system is a-ok, should come first. As in, making sure your ground is very good, anything noisy is plugged into a solid well grounded circuit, your audio stuff is on a separate circuit from noisy appliances computers etc.

After that, I am not sure how much of a diff power cords would make. Not my cuppa. But from some comments people have made about power cords, it sometimes sounds as if they are trying to compensate for bad house electrical / wiring.
