I heard the 3.7s at CES -- there is no lack of bass in my opinion. I have had a pair of 1.7s for months. The subs are in the corner unplugged.
So Peter Gunn, how much listening have you actually done with these 2 Magnepan speakers? Please explain why you keep complaining about the bass or in this post how you "expect" the bass to be lacking. Can you clarify this opinion, or are you just speculating?
