First, let this be a caution to everyone to turn the gear off before you start tinkering.
1 - 1.4 mH but I can't believe of all the parts that's what you killed. The QR foil would have a melt down before that would. Did you check continuity at the tabs? If not, do so.
2 - You inserted XO parts with the amp on. Anything from the amp to the speaker could have been damaged. (yes, the problem could be in the amp, not the speakers)
3 - "Return the aluminum frame, it doesn't fit the body" ??? There is no aluminum frame. The 1.7 can come with an optional aluminum side trim. Is this what you mean? If you're saying it doesn't fit back on, I can't understand why.
4 - My suggestion would be to not do that, but if I say why Mart will delete this post, so if you want another option email me.
