Here's a photo of one of my crossovers. (i've got more, but seem only to be able to attach one photo per post?) If someone could help me identify the tweeter crossover and what the components are I'd like to try to take a stab at replacing the tweeter capacitor. Not sure I'm ready to do the whole external thing. But am thinking about it.
The yellow capacitor on the lower left says:
Seacor
MMWF
15.0-10-100
The two yellow capacitors in the upper part of the pic are:
top- seacor/MMWF/15.0-10-100
bottom - Elpac/10.0+-10%/200v/ZDA8511-106K/8726
The yellow capacitor on the back side of the mounting plate reads:
Elpac
2.0+/- 10%
200v
zb9120-205k

I didn't catch the values on the grey resistors(?) on the mounting plate and couldn't find info on the two coiled inductors(?) in the crossover. I'm not really sure what all I'm looking at here either, so if anyone could chime in on a "roadmap" I'd appreciate it.
I think I'd like to do the tweeter capacitor (it is said to be the best improvement of the bunch), new binding posts, and maybe a new fuse holder, not sure of that last one. If I were to go external, what wires to I carry over into the external?
