RE: Speaker Problem

Your "scenario" (like most of your critiques of me) is being played out entirely in your head, not real life, and once again without thinking.

I had a customer who's home got struck by lightning earlier this year. Lost his TV, several kitchen appliances, his amp and it tore thru the XO boxes.

It was so violent the inductors shrunk (melted) and petrified and the resistors completely burned up. (they were literally gone except for a half inch nub) This is without question the absolute worst case scenario anyone will ever face. However the fact that the boxes are packed so tightly it snuffed the fire out and prevented it from going further. This not only validates what I do, it proves it to be the best method.

So had I done "what you would do" the fire would have surely spread as the contents would have been able to burn more freely. As usual you're more concerned with being a know it all than actually thinking. If someone next to you was on fire what do you do? (Bad question, you'd probably stand there and watch) The rest of us would grab a blanket, jacket etc.. (you know, a large flammable object) and use that to snuff the fire out.

But once again, thanks for condemning something of mine out of hand on an assumption. It never gets old. (and no, I'm not going to be reading or replying to your inevitably smarmy reply)

It's all about the music...
