Hey tintdoctor thanks! It's really hard for me to sum up the ERC-1 because I added that and the XPA-2 at the same time. So, I don't really know where the improvements are coming from. Some of both I'm sure but I have no way of knowing. What I do know, is that I am hearing much more detail from all of my CDs and a very quite background. As far as the MFSL recording of The Wall, that's hard for me to say also because it is more or less the only version of the album that I have owned save for a few cassette tapes that were recorded from a friends vinyl records on a very low end stereo when I was just a kid. I have definitely noticed more details in the background. The sound effects seem more real and clear to me. I never would have known that this version was dark/veiled like you and Rooski said since the last time I played another version of my own was tapes on a boom box :-) I would love to know of any other special versions of this album on CD that are available because I would love to give them a try. As far as Myrtle Beach goes... Absolutely look me up if you are in the area. Bring the wife/family and stop by for a drink. I'm married so the girls can keep each other busy while we tinker :-) Oh, and I have two boys, four and five so it's at your own risk! I'll PM you my info. My email is joemagjr@yahoo.com I'm just real happy with the EMO stuff. My amp was over twenty years old and my CD player was probably sixteen or seventeen.
