My 2 cents is that the dealer level may not be the right place to look.
Most dealers are lucky to have cash left to pay their staff. Ever hear of a guy getting paid in gear???
Look to the manufacturers, who will also benefit and probably have deeper pockets. Someone like Ray Kimber might be a good company to approach. And contact the guys in the link to see if they already have some program or any ideas to help you.
