possibly damaged 3.6r ???- what to do ???

Just received my long awaited 3.6r to find out that the outer box was damaged by a forklift. The plastic cover or the sock appears to be intact. the big delima i am having is
1. if I send them to magnepan for repair would they replace the whole mylar which would affect the right and left speaker harmony since one would be new and the other would be old.
2. since there is no visible damage should i risk sending it back ...( is there a possibility of delayed damage if no obvious sound difference is observed at the moment.
