First time I ever heard "warm" used in reference to vinyl was an interview with Pearl Jam's guitarist; Eddie Vedder was present as well. After that the phrase "took off" as it were.
that guy can go pound sand.
I tried to look up his credits, and he might be involved with recording in the starving artists category.. I get the impression that getting YouTube clicks and selling's side hustle is his primary interest.
I get the same kind of impression with some YouTube channels giving corvette advice. They recognize that anything corvette gets clicks, have the ability to buy a camera and the skills to use it, so set up shop as an authority, parroting advice from various internet sources about the brand, some good , some bad, and they don't know the difference , or seemingly care. they just want attention grabbing headlines to get clicks.
I once had a neighbor who was a record producer/ engineer, with a little recording studio set up in his apartment back before technology made such things easy. his primary source of income was writing jingles for commercials.

certainly there's to be differences from soul to soul in processing
the signal, not to mention trying to convey the results to others.

So can digital. Much easier to cobble a warm, fatigue - free presentation from budget analog vs budget digital though.
nt ; -)
It's like a vibrator for the mind.
And, no, I didn't (and won't) watch the video.

Normally I'd challenge you for not viewing the video and commenting. But having heard great vinyl systems that I'd NEVER use the word warm I have to agree. It's all dependent on the system and the input.
P.S. I didn't watch the video either for the same reason you didn't.
Totally agree
It would have been great if he would have been using good recordings of real acoustical instruments.

I had the same thought , that he has chosen to judge a reality that is synthetic .
of course, traditional instruments also vary in sound, but are more easily comparable because they are generally built to a known standard . If your violin doesn't sound like a violin, it can't play the parts.
I had a friend who aspired to a selmar saxophone that is only sold in one music shop that is located in the French subway , and is built to project in that environment. it is popular with jazz players because of that ability to project., aside from the very fine maker, but it still sounds like a saxophone.
many years ago I was listening to a good bar band where the electric guitar was synthesized to play the trumpet parts in the country song ring of fire. Yes, it was in Texas.
Some old timers here will remember Robert Fulton of Fulton Musical Industries (FMI). He was best known for his speakers but also may have been the first one promoting/selling heavier gauge speaker wires. His systems were favored by J Gordon Holt when still editor of Stereophile.I read where Mr Fulton had a musical background and also designed mouthpieces for brass instruments. I happened to mention this to a friend who played trumpet in our school's alumni band. He not only knew about them but told me they were his choice in mouthpieces!
As a non-musician this seemed quite amazing to me. But then I've read many times how guitarists can favor different strings. So when musicians feel or hear subtle differences, it's not my place to deny they exist.

Wow! That would've been interesting. Only in Texas! :-))
it must have been pretty new tech at the time, because the guitar player was shaking his head in disbelief whenever he played that riff.
corpus Cristi was pretty crazy way back then, the big bars advertised drink specials on the radio, such as buy a beer mug for five dollars and they would fill it free for a year.
I went to a free beer night where the bar tender was lightly tapping men on the head with a baseball bat whenever someone in the crowd started crawling up over the other people trying to get free beer. I enjoyed the beaches the best , as part was a nature preserve where I saw stuff that didn't live in my area. Texas , what can I say.
