These are some pretty negative reactions to an "honest" attempt to flim-flam with a bit of baffle gab.
And none of you even questioned the "analysis showed us how the headshell changes shape at various frequencies"!
;^)

It looks exactly like some head-shells I bought 15 years ago without the Carbon Fiber insert.
The ones I bought were about 10 bucks and weren't made all that well, they were just OK. I don't have any anymore, gave them away.
So the magic is in the CF insert? Balderdash. Just buy thin layers of CF and make your own
How much for these? $40-50$ each today?
"expect a price around $120USD"!!!

What's it weigh?
IMO the lack of azimuth adjustment is a fail at the asking price.

Thx for noting that. I sent the link to a friend who has a 1200GR. Now I've got back track a bit. I'll bring that to his attention. Aside from that, the phono cable looks interesting.
audio ad writing can be downright entertaining when they lay it on so thick. but I guess they have to talk about something when you are pitching another headshell into the market. .I think the best moment was when the fastening slot was declared a problem, but with hard work and detailed computer analysis, somehow they managed to figure a way past that seemingly insurmountable design conundrum , make the inferior technique designed slots a touch longer.
Thank god we live in an age of computers so those problems beyond solution by mere human thought can be overcome. what a genus design stroke, someone at techniques is getting fired for that blunder.. I hope they get royalties when long slots sweep the, up until this moment, sleeping on long fastening slots industry.
it's just a cryin' shame such genius victorious struggles with design, such as this longer slot can't mean much in the real world because the percentages of tracking error between the various cartridge alignment methods are so small as to be insignificant, in comparison to the total tracking errors of each method.
at first I thought the screw head indicated a provision for azimuth adjustment, but no such luck. I guess the design team that overcame the short slot problem was out sick when the arm lift was designed, because a second screwed on arm lift piece kind of blows that whole computerized vibration analysis solution.
I guess after that clamped on arm lift piece of vibration , they just gave up and slapped on a bit of carbon fiber decoration on, in the same way fishing lures are first designed to catch customers , by looks.
in days past they would have just called it a "turbo" area and called it a day . But carbon fiber is today's universal hot sales improvement , so that's the call. .
however , because any carbon fiber reinforcement is subject to the bond, and if the bond is stiff enough to not isolate the carbon fiber stick on, why not just fill the trough with the bonding material and leave off the decoration . which brings the question of if the cut out section is increasing stiffness. I see the stick on decoration as an indicator of a lack of seriousness in the product, and I would buy a one piece headshell instead, , but then considering the big picture , why should I care?
Because, to be intellectually honest, I should have kept my yapper shut, because I am using one of those hair shirt arm designs that eschew a removable headshell in favor of the benefits of more rigidity, and I don't plan to loose that advantage . plus a Panasonic, err, techniques 1200 direct drive holds no benefit for me, my cartridge is sensitive to the proximity electrical motor noise
I budget my purchases for optimum spending return, which pretty much kills any idea of multiple cartridges in favor of concentrating my humble budget on one best possible cartridge.
I hope the good readers s will excuse my lack of seriousness, lack of need to enter the conversation, and the negative tone . it's raining outside and I found this for entertainment.

You are absolutely right - the detachable headshell is the Achilles heel to the overall tonearm stiffness!

I struggle almost every day to resists telling everyone how superior I consider my turntable and arm designs, but can't find a way to not sound like a braggart. extra sweet is I got it as a dealer demo, long before the price was raised to financial incompatibility with my needs.
