The first solo album in my opinion, almost as good as the best Floyd albums (but not quite)...-

  My favourite too, from Dave, though I prefer the version of Short and Sweet on Roy Harper's record, The Unknown Soldier.
  As for Thea (Which Gilmore wasn't specified) I'm inclined towards Avalanche but Rules for Jokers ain't bad.

  My favorite Gilmour album. I listen to it often and never tire of it. The guitar work from Dave is outstanding. I wish he'd do another with these guys.

I haven't heard that one, but I did buy On An Island years ago - Story 14:37:29 02/02/24 (0)
The sound and pressing is A- to A grade, performance is A+. Dave is a Treasure.

I wish I could afford to go to an island or maybe buy one someday. But then I'd have to buy fresh water and have it flown in; more complications.
