Seriously. The magic pen probably costs a few bucks at most. If you THINK it has a positive effect, and it makes you happy, go for it!

Write the words Hitler and Hate on a piece of white paper using any red pen and place it on top of a speaker or component. Notice how the sound quality goes all to hell. Then remove the piece of paper and rip it into many pieces and the sound quality will return.
