Thanks for the suggestion. I may order some different types but start with Schottky. If they sound good I'll leave them in until I get ambitious again.

I think you will like the results, but bear in mind that this (upgrading the diodes) is usually not a Holy Cow type of upgrade, unless you are starting from something very mediocre. Still, it is very worth doing.
