Anything that elicits a genuine smile is a good thing in my book.
I'm still smiling! :)
I was a music student at CalArts during the late '70s/early '80s, and it was during that time that the great bait-and-switch adventure of "commercial free" cable TV was just getting started. One of the first was called "ON TV".
I decided I had to create my own take on it. OFF TV. It was to be a beautiful remote controlled black box that would sit atop a TV. When you pushed the button on the remote, a red light would appear in the center of the box's front panel, and the TV would be turned off.
The OFF TV Guide that came with the component would offer, on an hourly basis, activities that could be enjoyed while the TV was OFF. Unlike cable TV, my product would have kept its promise to remain commercial free -- forever.
For some reason (I had other things to do) my brilliant idea never quite made it to market. Still, it made me smile.
Kudos to the developer of the $10,000 pile of meticulously constructed excrement! A brilliant idea to make people smile! Isn't that, at least in part, the very meaning of life? :)

I am guessing it is the same guy who made power cords the size of fire hoses. Called his company Coconut Audio.
