"I haven't tried them all - far from it; but for the price (I paid 21euro for five caps including shipping) I strongly doubt there's any cap as good as this for coupling; in fact I wouldn't be surprised if they would score favorably against some more expensive boutique MKPs."

Way to go!
Glad you found a bargain product. Many times people tend to throw-money at things, but as you have found out, its not always necessary.
I think you are right on, there are not many that can beat the S. MKL, unless you pay a whole lot more $$.
Have fun!!

Yes, as a matter of fact I've been trying this RFI issue (see my other posts) and it stopped me from just enjoying the sound of my system, but I can confirm: the MKL are gonna stay! I still have some from the same package, I'm gonna put them at the input of my high-pass amp, whenever I have a little bit of time to play around...
I've been reading about your issue.I wanted to add my .02....
From my experience, computers interject noise into the A/C circuit in which they are plugged into. For example, I can plug my computer [even a RaspberryPi] into the same outlet or outlet on the same circuit as my stereo system and hear my CPU. To resolve this I kept my computers plugged into different circuits and the problem was gone [period]. Also from my experience computers don't emit 'airborne' noise that can be picked up via cables etc. This noise in the A/C line also pertains to WiFi extenders which are plugged into the wall. I've tested it [in my homes] and fixed it [in my homes] many times.
Either way, good luck with whatever solution you end up with and try.
BTW, my fav cheapish caps are Jantzen audio superior z-cap. Having tried many 'expensive' caps [V-Cap, Jupiter audio, Mundorf, Auricap and Duelund] the Jantzen beats them all at $20 bucks.
Enjoy!!

I have a filtered power strip where I ended up connecting the devices (of my audio system) that are susceptible to pollute the rest (switching power supplies for my two class D amps) and also my DAC; after a few trials this was the best sound (having the crossover in that filtered power strip didn't do anything for my noise issue and made the sound a bit cold and distant).. I've put ferrite clamps on almost all appliances in the house, and on some of the audio appliances; but no matter what I do, the noise is still there; only playing with different cables at the crossover input changes the amount of noise so I've located the ingress at crossover input, the input cable acting as an antenna and the high gain / high impedance of the input stage amplifying it all. Nasty.
I'm still thinking about what to do; I really like this crossover, it sounds great (besides the RFI), really great (I'm not making this up); it costed peanuts, it's got room inside for tweaking (which is why I could use the MKL capacitors); I'm considering another crossover which costs 10x as much and has good reviews but it is a non-tweakable device and if the sound don't match my expectations I will regret my cheap 49$ crossover...

Sounds like you're a hobbyist, so tweaking brings both satisfaction and frustration at times. In the midst of it all we enjoy the music but 'playing with stuff' also brings joy.
Others are purely into music and for them, they don't have the time nor inclination to tweak. That's fine, this world is big enough to meet all of our needs. Tweak on and have fun!
Right now, I'm contemplating taking my IC's apart and redoing them in a different configuration. Maybe later when the mood strikes me...

I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on that different, non-tweakable crossover; there's a 45 days return policy should I be disappointed with it. I have enough other stuff I can tweak if I need to ;)
IMHO Siemens MKL are also fine for coupling. I bypass them with Sikatrop Caps with very good results.
