I DID say " FOR THE PRICE" :)
There aren't many really good sounding coupling caps available for just a few euros each.

    No worries.
    I have a tendency to be over-excited when something (seems to) work(s) really good, sometimes (I realize) to be disappointed when the novelty has faded.
    No such thing, I'm ready to bet, with the MKL caps: there' nothing objectionable with them as far as I can tell, no character that would sound seductive at first then annoying after "wow" factor is gone.
    It's no secret that I'm "cheap" due to a limited income combined with the price of living in Brussels; so I keep trying cheap alternatives to the "audiophile approved" boutique parts. Chinese DAC, class T amplifiers, home-brew horn speakers, IKEA butcher blocks, refurbished second-hand electronics... you name it ^^ it's a lot of fun and most visitors love the way my system sounds so, until now, in all modesty I guess I pretty much nailed it.

      I understand, KanedaK. I have a number of different audio systems, with my main audio system involving the most expensive gear, so I can't afford to always pay a premium price for gear that I use in my second systems. Lower-cost items from eBay and AliExpress can be great buys, so I'm in agreement with you about inexpensive gear including DIY tweaks being worthwhile things to explore. BTW, if you are interested in terminating an affordable pair of high-performance DIY rca interconnects, let me know.
