Here's the situation: In my new audio room, I have two dedicated circuits. All my equipment is fed by a dual duplex (yes, minimalist...) where the duplexes are on different circuits. Since I'm using an Oyaide WPC-Z2 with the aluminum frame, the grounds of each receptacle/circuit tie together. I would prefer to keep the two grounds separate back to the panel.
An Oyaide R1 is one of the receptacles. The other is currently a builder-grade receptacle that sounds poor. Can anyone recommend a receptacle with isolated ground so that the two circuits' grounds remain separate when both are mounted to the Oyaide frame? In other words, I need a receptacle whose ground wont make contact with the frame.
For context, my only real experience is with Oyaide R1, which I like for its warmth and dynamics.
thanks in advance!

I don't know of an Audio Grade AC outlet that features an isolated ground, but I recommend trying a Hubbell IG5362 AC outlet with isolated ground. It's unusual, in that the IG5362 features phosphor bronze contacts rather than brass, which imparts an excellent sense of midrange presence within the soundstage vs. that of brass. The frequency extremes are not as impressive as the midrange, since the unplated phosphor bronze contacts are not plated in the way that Oyaide tunes their SWO Series AC outlets with various plating schemes for their phosphor bronze contacts. That said, you will either totally enjoy the presentation, or find it's not what you might seek. It's available at half price at this time for only $15 with free shipping, so it's well-worth the risk to give it a try, Michael V.The Hubbell IG5362 AC outlet features a brass backstrap vs. ferrous steel, and the build quality is equivalent to a Hospital Grade Hubbell product, IMO.
