I purchased a QV2 a few weeks ago and have it plugged into a power strip. I can verify it does do something very positive to the sound. So much that I am considering purchasing another. My system sounds more tonally rich and the soundstage got a little wider. For the price, a nice tweak.
I became intrigued originally after hearing a demo of the QX4 at a dealer, which was pretty amazing. I can't swing the asinine cost of the QX4 ($2700) so decided to start down the food chain a bit on the QV2.

Welcome! Bluemaverick789.
I,too, auditioned the QX4 earlier this year. A nice, sonic match for Rega and Naim gear.
-mb,
Thanks, that's exactly the sort of response I was looking for, as I took it upon myself to call and chat with one of the guys at Music Direct the other day to inquiry about them as well, I was told by one guy that he owns the Shunyata Research Venom Defender - but not to stop at the Nordost QK1, and instead go all out and pursue the QV2 as per your statement as well.
So, I'm more inclined to go this route as well, I mean after all - why settle on said devices when in fact I've paid more for cartridges - cables and isolation devices that were well over $350.
Once again, Thanks for taking the time to assist me on this topic.
Regards,
