I use "TRACK AUDIO-SPEAKER SPIKES"... Best $119.00 I have ever spent... Has most of the same sonic qualities as the Stillpoints...

...that truly pierce carpet weave to the subfloor in a stable fashion, with no rocking.
That said, I use the original Stillpoints directly under my amps and Mac Mini and really like them! Can't rationalize $2K or more for the newer designs under my current amps.
The manufacturer of Stillpoints will tell you they work best close to the component. So I am planning to try the newer Stillpoints Ultra Minis directly under my Audio Note speakers, which are light enough to be supported by the Minis. And keep the spikes under the AN stands...
Good stuff!

Howdy RadioWonder,
Do you use the spikes on a hardwood floor with the tips placed on coupling discs, or do you use them as carpet-piercing spikes?

Hi,Duster... I use them as carpet-piercing spikes... And they sound amazing...
Spikes are spikes...stillpoints uses a decoupling system. My Vandersteens came with spikes already.
I owned Stillpoints ultra SS under my components (AR Ref 3, AR Ref 110, and Lampi 5). Heard the Shun Mook Diamond resonators, sold Stillpoints immediately. Went out in the market and sourced 3 sets of the Giant resonators, and 1 set of the smaller ones. Highest impact in my system after speakers (owned Martin Logan Summits, and now looking for a full range).
