Hi:The photo below shows my 2-way open baffle system. As you can see, I only use one mono amp per side. Bi-amping is not required. However, this set-up does facilitate easy bi-wiring, as can be seen in the photo.

Wow That look nice ...and simple. Could you draw it out for me? My e is my name! Cheers, Chet
Draw what out?
It's a plywood open baffle.
The wires hook up to the divers in the regular way, a cap is in series with one lead of the HF driver.

I'm sorry Chet but I have to agree with DJK. Look at the photo - the bass/mid-range driver runs full range and there's just a capacitor on the positive side of the tweeter. Use one of the internet speaker crossover calculators to determine the value of the cap.

I couldn't completely make out the connections and it's my first time doing this.I wouldn't have asked if I was sure. No thanks to djerk! Chet
Welcome to the world of OB if you want to really learn more about it go to Diyaudio Forum very rarely do you get attitudes over there. Have you thought about full range? I built my first OB with a single 8 in driver called the Betsy I built the folded wing for them no crossovers they are amazing.
