"Lay your theory on me"
Theory?
I don't need no stinkin' theory, I'm just an innocent, gullible audiophile...
But what's left? Something to do with the conductors or insulators I suppose. Or the power of suggestion?
Actually I doubt it's the latter since other vendors have similar things like a CD that's supposed to do the magic. At least they have the decency to say that they don't really know why it works.
But let's just assume it really is magnetic, what's the mechanism that causes audible problems? Surely a clever physicist such as yourself can see more deeply into these murky realms than a simple sparky such as myself...

Hey, you're the skeptic and scientist.
"I don't know how these things work but I will try them as soon as I get a chance."
Yeah, right.

"I don't know how these things work but I will try them as soon as I get a chance."
If you are quoting me I don't know the context. The only thing I've currently got going is the ground enhancer thing and it's dogging along, I'm having problems with variable control of all things. Even something as simple as hanging a wire on speakers ain't all that simple. I'm too impatient to be a very good long-term experimentalist and would never make it in the life-sciences. I want to turn the knob and see the meter move...

That sounds about right. :-)
