I can understand your doubt, but I have years of doing mods to just about every kind of electronics used in Audio. This mods comes after all the other mods in the system, so everyone could plainly hear it. The caps are Digi-Key P10253-ND 1000uf/16V radial. Good Luck, bobwire

If you link the title with the first sentence, it reads "Not that I doubt you."My apologies if you mistook it for doubting your mod. I really don't doubt it at all, but there are myrids of caps out on the market and it is good to know what kind of caps you used.
But thanks for your response and again, my apologies.

It seems to me that when I chose that cap that I went for size first. It had to be a small dia. It didn't matter how tall. The lead spacing was right on, so no problem there. The internal resistance had to be the smallest for the size cap too. I've used this cap in my active crossover, pre-amp (Classe' CP-35), power amps (Classe' Ten), my old Sony NS9000, and laser disk player. All of these units and more have gotten their own caps on every power pin of every IC from the DAC on out. There are also a lot of 2200uf and 4700uf in there too. Good Luck, bobwire
The specs for that Panasonic cap. Been ordereing from Mouser recently and I have been gravitating to their Nichicon, UHE series. It sports very similar specs to the Panasonic in size and ESR and such.
Thanks again for the info.
