Duster, Do you mean you changed to Pulsar Ag coaxial cable from your Dac to the Transport.
Or did you change to Pulsar Ag coaxial cable internally inside your Dac from the S/PDIF connection to the board?

Did you use the 2 shields together at both ends for the ground connection to replace one of the twisted pair wires?
The two shields make electrical contact all the way down the entire cable, so when the braided shield is used for the ground connection at both ends it effectively replaces one of the twisted pair wires.

Good idea, I had thought about doing the same, with good wire. The Pulsar AG sounds like a very good one to try!
Thanks!
Another big plus is the Pulsar Ag is a very flexible, small outer diameter cable that can be easily routed, and the small 24 gauge center conductor can fit into small entry point PCB soldering holes.

Good to know, as when the purse strings are better I will move into another Custom made dac. In the mean time I will start picking up some choice parts wire, Caps, etc when I get the chance.
