I just recieved some sets of these for my Bi wire speakers.
Not sure if these take time to break in. I was told they sound great right away, others have said they take a few weeks.
Right now I am not sure if they are doing anything. I also have the Ground Controls on the speakers.

I was wondering if anyone else has these and perhaps could give an opinion of these compared to the Walkers.

Check the polarity of the units at the speaker end and verify polarity at the other end of the speaker wire at the amp side. That's about all I can think of at this point. Some people say they open up after some time. Perhaps system and listener dependent.

In any case don't worry you can have as much evaluation time as you need (60 instead of 30 days for instance)and there's no risk with the satisfaction guarantee.

  Update: The Detail Magnifiers now have about 12 hours of playing time and already the sound is improving.
  
  I don�t know why I am surprised though. Past experience has shown that Resistors, Capacitors, silver wire, silver spades all need some break in time. An when I first installed the Detail Magnifiers they were quite cool to the touch (straight from the packing box).
  
  What I have at this stage is deeper richer tones in the vocals, extended clearer high frequencies and a more defined bass. The Soundstage is getting deeper and it seems to be progressing by the hour.

    Good to hear. I did forget about the cold thing too. I think that played a part. Since I waited on spades, finished the build Friday late and shipped Saturday AM I didn't do my usual 24 burn in w/ white noise.
    
    Give em a good work out and continue your analysis over time. As you know I only want you to keep them if you really like them. Also as I said in my first reply take extra time to evaluate them if you want.
