I'm sure it meets all it's Specs. Here they are:
------
THE NBS POWER CONDITIONER HAS EIGHT OUTLETS AND IS DESIGNED FOR ALL SOURCE COMPONENTS AND AMPLIFIERS
HEIGHT: 5.75”
WIDTH: 17”
DEPTH: 16.5”
WEIGHT: 36lbs.
------
Can't argue with those, especially with no tolerances...

36 pounds? I find it hard to believe that the product pictured weighs 2/3 as much as my McIntosh ss amp. That spec just might be exaggerated a tad.
I borrowed some NBS speaker cables from a local hobbyist a few years back. They were stiff, and basically resembled 12ga romex encased in techflex. He was asking several hundred dollars for the 10' pair on A'gon, and marked the ad as "sale pending". I quickly returned them and let him know I had no intention of a purchase.
Based on the two products I now have "experience" with, I would be very cautious when it came to purchasing one of their "high end" products.
They're quite exceptional, and were better than many in my system.
Besides, I wouldn't really call what you described "experience".
I listened to them for a couple of days and was not impressed. Not bad, but nothing worth noting, either. The stiffness was a real turn-off for a couple of different reasons. They just looked and felt cheap, especially for the price.
The pics of the power conditioner speak for themselves, as does the weight spec. If that box weighs 36 pounds, it's the enclosure and not the internals contributing to it.
I've used the Professional version Speaker cables for the last 15 years-they have consistently
beat out all I have put up against them in my system(s).
I still have Statement Power cords and the same with those.
Expensive yes-but per Cent per hours musical enjoyment over that time--whose measuring ?
While I don't agree with some of the NBS products, I have dealt with Walter Fields
on a personal level I have found him to be personable and eager to help a customer.
Very encouraging when you are 10K miles from the factory!
