Cast Bronze AC Outlet Covers?

While browsing at the local hardware store I saw some Cast Bronze AC Outlet cover plates that are really solid, very thick and way heavier than normal outlet cover plates. Is there any downside being made of bronze?

Take a magnet - bartc 15:12:19 11/12/10 (0)
And make sure it's not at its base a ferrous metal that is coated or painted bronze. If it's not ferrous, no problem that I'm aware of, though you might want to mechanically damp it for ringing with some Dynamat or other damping substance.
