It always strikes me that comparing wall plugs is even more difficult that comparing preamps, at least for the average audiophile.
Of course, if you have a line strip and put multiple outlet into it, you could quickly compare them.

I'm waiting for my Maestro to break in and it has only twenty hours on it. It is on a trial replacement of an Oyaide R1 which is in a well settled system. It is directly feeding my preamp and an isolating transformer which feeds my CDP.Too early yet for a comparison but as soon as I have a few hundred hours on it I will report back here. Only comment I care to make so far is that it has a great midrange.

There is no more ernest manufacturer.
Norm, I have tried most of the raved outlets on the market and the porter ports were the most neutral outlets until I tried the maestro outlets. Here's some of the other raved outlets that I compared to the porter ports...FIM 880, Jena Labs, PS Audio Powerport Premier, Isoclean Gold, WattGate Silver 381 ag, Synergistic Research Teslaplex, Oyaide R1. All these outlets did something to harm the music in some way. Some had hyped up mids or highs and others had bloated low ends. The maestro outlets are the most neutral and most accurate outlets that I have ever heard. I think these maestro outlets will become an Instant Classic!
