My front two units are mounted on a shelf I installed to the front wall. The units are on Herbie's tender feet but I have not noticed a difference. The units do not slide as easily with the tender feet in place. The rear unit sits on a 30 inch metal candle holder purchased at Pier one. When the room is dark and the unit is on it looks quite nice. This stand is on a partial room divider that separates the listening room from the kitchen.
Have you had a chance to try the units higher than 5 feet? I found that 7 feet was the best in my room.

I am going to make a stand out of 2 x 2 wood with a 4 x 6 plate of wood on top and 10 x 10 on bottom. I guess I could have two 2 x 2s with holes 1" apart from above 5' and use two bolts with wingnuts to allow height adjustments.
I have many Synergistic Research charged cabling each with a blue LED, so with my light of it is like being on the moon.
The one tweak that I do value on the RR-77 is a quarts glass 2 inch disc on each. I have tried the RIQ-5110 from Acoustic Revive but it is not as good. I Below I have listed one place to get them.
Hi Norm
What thickness did you use for the 2 inch quartz disc ?
Mark
They are a little thinner than the Acoustic Revive RIQ-5010s which are 10 mm thick.
Interest the quartz ore in the RIQ-5010s don't sound like the quartz glass disks and often sound better.
