I have tried a number of these and own a few (and some others that are not even listed God knows why not...). I've never bought any of these without having tried them in my system for several days. Some of them made a very big difference audible to professional musician and to people who mostly listen to their car stereos (I tested it several times).

Nevertheless, I'm not a salesman and I don't intend to advertise any of the products and waste my time praising them when people are making jokes about them. But I'm wondering that if you dismiss all these just because somebody put together some funny sentences, why are you reading the tweaks' asylum in the first place? Have you tried ANY of these?

(May I be forgiven for constructing such a horrible sentence.) I read this forum, occasionally, because it does contain some genuinely interesting an useful information. However, that doesn't mean that I am happy to embrace such concepts as magic pebbles or prepared to accept that a speaker cable can be worth thousands of dollars.

Maybe there are some tweaks described in the article that have beneficial effects and maybe not. I would agree that to lump all after-market "enhancements" together and thus to condemn them all is unfair. Nevertheless, there seem to me to be a large number of such "enhancements" that are aimed unscrupulously at the gullible and well-heeled.

are from people who have never tried them.

They love to use the worn adage, "I don't have to jump off a bridge to know it will kill me." or some such excuse not to have tried anything.
