Does the listener need to be in the room. I mean, could I just have you call my answering machine?

"The phone doesn't have to be in the room either - if it's a cell phone, the call can be made from the car or work"
So if you call from work, your "magic" somehow knows where you live and will automatically make your system at home sound better?
Is the home system affected if you leave the cell phone in the car?
Since it sounds like the phone itself is affected (0r the cause of the "effect"), does every sound system that has the phone in the room sound better?
If I am at a concert and call, will the PA system sound better?
If it does, then that is some serious vodoo.

> > > > > > > > Yes. Also, any room in the house with an audio system, not only the room where the phone is located, will have better sound. AND -- any room with a video system in it will have better picture quality and better sound. If you take the treated phone to a friend's house to listen to his system, you should both notice the sound is better than the last time you were there, assuming you had you untreated phone with you. On the other hand, since your untreated phone presumably made his system sound somewhat worse (compared to when he listened by himself) the last time you were there, and he didn't notice, he might not notice the effect of the Tele-tweaked phone unless you bring it to his attention. Perhaps an A/B test with the phone inside the house/outside the house.
