Hi,Sorry, I wasn't indeed clear. I couldn't tell the Hifi Tuning fuse apart from the stock RS ceramic one. I decided it wasn't worth blind-testing myself on directivity as I couldn't really hear any difference when swapping.
What I did is blindly select the fuse, then listen to one track I know well, then put the second fuse in and listen again.
On my first try, I found the second time I played the track MUCH better. I checked, it was indeed the Hifi Tuning fuse. It was so obvious it was no contest. I wondered if it wasn't even worth continuing the blind test but decided to do so.
I did it a second time. Again, the second track exhibited ALL the caracteristics I preferred in the Hifi Tuning fuse.
But it was the stock RS fuse.
So all I'm saying here is, people should do a blind test with those, because believe me, there's a lot to learn from it - if only about how perception works. And it's easily done, and can be done on one's own.
I sold the Hifi Tuning fuse and the new owner reported he was happy with it. But I'm pretty sure he didn't do a blind test...
Re. directionality, I still haven't found anybody able to explain to me how a fuse passing AC could be directional!!!
Hope this helped.

But I just wanted to be sure.My M.O. for tweaks is that if I hear a clear and repeatable improvement, then I consider the tweak a success.
When I get into the "maybe, umm, yes, I think it sounds better, maybe..." that I'll consider the tweak a failure, for me. I won't say it doesn't work, only that it didn't work for me.
I've read too many "maybe's, sorta's, and subtle at best's" here on Tweakers for me to drop $50 on a fuse "just to try it". I think I'll put my $50 in a jar and save for something like Teflon capacitors.
Thanks.
