...Alan Maher set me straight when he explained that the famous .47uf tweak only works on a small portion of the audio band, hence your noticing the emphasis on the lower mid/upper bass region. Take the Auricap out, put in one of Alan's wide band filters and experience a better sound across the board.

What model # cap , brand and value are your referring to that would substitute for the Auricap Tweak.
